Check out Lists for more details!
When adding multi-page PDFs, select individual pages you’d like to add (for Image items, or Camera frame images)

Combined some common actions in the pop-up menus to nested menus, to keep the list smaller and easier to use
Hide / Lock / Opacity
Bring to front / Send to back
Cut/Copy/Duplicate/Delete
For easier access to locked items on a Diagram, right-click over them and select Unlock item from the pop-up menu
Visible action names for Targeting, Adding, Swapping, and more
Added a Refresh Symbol button for Cloud Library Fixtures, to fetch the latest version of the Diagram symbol
Note: this does not reflect whether or not there is a newer version; that will come in the future
When swiping up to send the app to the background on a mobile device, returning could show a small selection marquee at the bottom of the Diagram editor
Small bug fixes and improvements:
When a new Project was created, its first List couldn't be deleted

Diagrams

Updates to Actor, Camera, and Fixture items on the diagram
Released April 8, 2026
Availability: all devices, all accounts
Just like the “cam” feature for cameras, “role” makes it easier to use recurring characters in a project or diagram.
Create roles in a whole project’s scope, or specific to a diagram
Style with item type, stroke/fill color, and name (changing these anywhere updates the whole scope)
Add easily from quick items

In many cases, it makes more sense to associate lens packages with camera packages, than with projects or diagrams. This is useful when using camera bodies with different mounts or formats, or for multi-cam TV where each camera has its own lens.
If a camera has a Cam assigned, you can add lenses to the “Cam” scope
This lens package will use the scope of the Cam itself (project or diagram), so it’s available anywhere the Cam is
For Pro accounts with Cloud Library access

Visualize a fixture’s beam spread on your diagram, the same way you can see a camera’s field of view.
Available for most Cloud Library fixtures (and updating the rest of them)
For variable beams, adjust spot/flood within the fixture’s limits
Choose whether the beam is always visible, or only when the fixture is selected
Choose whether the beam is blocked by Wall items
When a shot is marked Done or Won’t Do, and that shot contains multiple cameras connected by arrows, the arrows are also made lighter (like the cameras)

Diagrams

Shot List, Patch List, and more diagram export options
Released March 12, 2026
Availability: all devices, all accounts
This tool provides maximum flexibility for how you want to work.
Build the list from either "direction” (or some combination of the two)
Add cameras to the diagram and add details later
List all your shots and then drag them onto the diagram
Label shots with their number, as well as other details (INT/EXT, DAY/NIGHT, etc)
Keep track of shot status (To-Do, Done, Won’t Do)
Add dividers for context (lighting turnaround, meals, etc)
Export the shot list as a PDF

Add up to 10 images to a shot’s “frame images”
Include storyboards, viewfinder images, etc
Open the frame images modal to view, add, remove, and re-order
All images are included in the PDF export
Displays all fixtures on the diagram, sorted by whether or not they have a Channel and Address value
Update DMX values and add notes in a list view
Displays “patch conflicts” when two channels are assigned the same address
Export the list as a PDF
For a diagram, choose to export as a PDF, PNG, or JPG
For Shot List and Patch List, choose portrait or landscape orientation for a PDF
Right-clicking an item and choosing “Edit Name” would not display the name label if it was hidden; now it displays temporarily
Some items (such as cars) were still being added as Fixtures; now they’re generic Items

Projects
Account

Sync projects to Google Calendar, and new diagram features.
Released February 18, 2026
Availability: all devices, all accounts
We just added “Sign In with Google” to make account creation quicker; now, you can use that same Google account to sync Project dates.
In Account > Connect, toggle on the option to “Sync Projects to calendar”
Any Projects that have dates assigned will appear, but individual Projects can be toggled on/off at any time
Shared Projects sync too (each user sets their own calendar preference)

Curved walls - toggle Wall item control points between “corner” and “curve”
Flip items - for multi-selected items and Groups, mirror their arrangement (horizontally or vertically) with a button in the Details sidebar
Save to device Photos - when adding an Image item or Camera frame image, you can choose to take a photo directly in Scenario. Now, that photo is also added to your device’s camera roll.

Account

Updates to login and navigation, plus a new camera feature.
Released February 6, 2026
Availability: all devices, all accounts
Create a Scenario account and sign into it using a Google or Apple account

Add a new account in the Account > Connect tab
This works even if the email address doesn’t match
You can connect one of each account
The left nav bar is now visible on all screens wide enough to show it (not mobile)
Added a new item: Editor, which is the Diagram editor
Now ALL accounts – including Free Demo – can view the Projects and Network screens
Free Demo accounts are now able to see other users’ Projects that are shared with them, directly in the app (still cannot create your own Projects)
All users have access to in-app Help Chat, Roadmap, Add Ideas, Updates, and User Guide
Create different “cams” to indicate which camera is which (A cam, B cam, etc)
Customize colors and body style for each
Like lenses, cams can apply to a whole Project, or an individual Diagram
Copy and paste sets of cams, for reuse
Hovering over the quick-add Camera shows a list of cams to drag and drop
Changing a cam for a Camera in an Arrow path changes all connected Cameras
Moving Grouped items would sometimes revert to a previous position
Bold formatted text appeared as a serif font in PDFs
January 30th, 2026
Diagrams

Text formatting, and some Diagrams improvements
Released January 30, 2026
Availability: all devices, all accounts
For item labels, style with text color and size, plus bold/italic/underline/strikethrough
For Text items, also use bulleted/numbered lists and text justification, as well as styling individual text selections
Toggle items’ label visibility on/off with a button, rather than having to delete the text to hide the label
See Markup, Text, Images for more details
In Cloud Library (for Pro accounts), select a Manufacturer and/or Category, and browse results without having to search
On mobile devices with small screens, the bottom actions bar now “stacks” into two rows, instead of presenting vertically on the left side (for Markup, Text formatting, and any other item with lots of actions)
For Free Demo accounts, removed an option to duplicate Diagrams (Free Demo provides only one Diagram)

New
Improved

Keeping your work safe with a new “Deleted” folder, and some design updates.
Released December 23, 2025
Availability: all devices, all accounts
Although it’s possible to “undo” deleting a Project, Diagram, or List, sometimes mistakes happen, and you may find that one of them got away. But now there’s good news: it’s not gone!
To recover a deleted file, go to the Projects view (close the Diagram if you’re in one), and in the Project “status” drop-down, select “Deleted.”
This shows all your deleted Projects, with the most recently deleted first
Deleted Folders, Diagrams, and Lists can be found in the “container projects” with those names
Select an item to “Restore” it to its original parent context
Items stay in the “Deleted” view for 14 days after being deleted
We’ve simplified how selecting items works in the Project sidebar, so it’s easier to tell what’s actually selected.
Only one item is selected at a time (with the blue highlight)
The visible Diagram (and sometimes List) show the “eye” icons
Using the bottom “Duplicate” and “Delete” buttons will always perform that action on the selected item
Fixed an issue that saved a .txt file with Diagram PDFs
